Risingsun Lugols 2.2% iodine 3mg solution contains 2.2% iodine and 4.8% iodide 4.8% for a combined 3mg of total iodine per drop. The iodine used in Risingsun’s Lugols iodine solutions is processed from natural organic iodide which is extracted from ancient underground brine mines located in the United States and South America. Iodide brine mining is the extraction of useful materials (elements, compounds) which are naturally dissolved in brine. To Make an Iodine Supplement Spray: Fill 2 oz.(60ml) container with distilled water; ADD 1 to 6 maximum drops of Risingsun Lugol’s 2.2% iodine 3mg solution for desired ppm (parts per million). OPTIONAL: ADD 1 teaspoon lemon juice or a pinch of ascorbic acid (natural vitamin C surfactants), then affix closure and shake to mix, this will react with the iodine and make the solution clear. NOTE: If you want the benefit of the iodine (red or yellow color) do not add a surfactant that contains vitamin c.
